Your files stay yours.

Sheaf’s Live tools do all their work inside your browser using local code. The PDFs and images you open are read on your device and never sent to a server. When you download a result, it’s generated locally too.

Server tools

Tools labelled Server are placeholders in this template — they don’t upload anything until you connect them to a backend. If you do, describe here exactly what that backend receives, how long it keeps files, and when it deletes them.

What this template collects

Out of the box: nothing. There are no accounts, no trackers and no cookies set by Sheaf itself. The page loads three open-source libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js and JSZip) from a public CDN; if you’d rather self-host them, download the files and update the script tags in tool.html.
